Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. The quoting process only needs these answers: your gender, your date of birth, your general health status, whether you use tobacco, how much coverage you need, and what term you want. With just those six facts, you get quotes. Your name and other personal details are only requested if you go on to apply for a policy.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The prices shown are the monthly rates each carrier is willing to quote for the health class you picked. Once you apply and the carrier completes underwriting, the actual premium may go up or down as the carrier confirms or adjusts your health class. This page does not offer insurance and does not guarantee any specific price.
What happens when I click Apply?
When you pick a carrier and select Apply, you enter a secure form that already has your answers filled in. You add your name and complete the underwriting details, and you can log out and come back to finish whenever you want. When you're done, you sign electronically. Your application is processed by Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed agency in California (License 0B75129).
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends entirely on the carrier, the amount you are asking for, and what you told us about your health. Many carriers today have streamlined programs that can approve applicants quickly without an exam; some will require one, or possibly require one if something needs checking. Each quote tells you what that specific carrier and product will do.
Is a longer term better?
A term should match the period when losing your income would genuinely hurt the people you support: a mortgage you haven't paid off, kids who aren't yet independent, or a business that depends on you. Longer terms cost more per month, but they lock in your rate for those longer years. The quote tool lets you see prices for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year terms side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
